Overview
The Level 1 Certificate in Health and Safety at Work aims to formalise health and safety induction training in the form of a nationally-recognised qualification. Accredited by the Qualifications and Curriculum Authority (QCA) at Level 1 in the National Qualifications Framework.

Training format

- Organisations order a 40-question multiplechoice examination from BSC Awards.
- Candidates sit the examination in-company, invigilated by the company under strict examination conditions.
- Answer forms returned to BSC Awards for marking.
- Results and certificates issued within five days.
